Norma & Lynn Hammond Amphitheater (at North Lake Park 29th Street & Taft Avenue) |
The amphitheater has a seating capacity of 300, in the grass area. It provides the setting for a wide variety of activities including various City events, concerts, plays, public gatherings, and weddings. A reservation includes a large concrete stage area with lighting. Additional equipment (tables, chairs, PA system, etc.) may be reserved if available. This may require City Staff and Set-up Time, which may be subject to an additional fee. |

Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park (Hwy 34, four miles west of the "Dam Store" in Big Thompson River Canyon) |
Walking Path around Tailrace Pond with Benches and Fishing nearby. Reservations are not permitted in either area on a holiday date, or during a holiday weekend. This is due to overcrowding in the park, and conflicts with general public parking and overflow usage. |
